Bubbles and Legos
Last night was quite an interesting night. With no power, I was quite hot, and then woke up cold. The power went off at about 3:30 yesterday and didn't come back on until 11:30 today. It doesn't seem that bad, but our house was completely dark. It was not too fun. We had toddler duty this morning. We had six toddlers. Our regular crew, who is not in school. Along with ten team members. There were about three people per toddlers. They loved the bubbles. They got more on them I think than we blew, but they think they are just the greatest thing. They love the legos and build towers. They fight over who has the biggest tower. We all chilled after that. There wasn't too much to do today. School is out, because the teachers decided they just wanted to be off this week. The only people in school are the high school kids and preschool. I don't know how it ended up that way, but high school is not mandatory, so they are not out when other classes are out. I walked to the store and got a giant pepsi, three liters for only $1.50. We all share it. The delivery guy came today, but only delivered big pepsis, no small one. I took a great nap this afternoon, with my wonderful fan. I have it clipped to my bed. It is wonderful. It feels so good here. At night is gets down to about seventy degrees, almost chilly. It is great to sleep when it is cool outside. Talk to you soon! Love you and miss you all!

So you caught up on your blogs - I knew you would. I am really glad you had room to carry your fan, I thought you carried a flashlite - too - but maybe I am thinking about my list. To bad you didn't carry any candles - I know that would have really added to your weight - but at lease you would have some light - what did you all do without any form of power - lay around talk??
I am still liking the idea of the teachers being able to say - we are just canceling school this week - I don't think that would work to well for me though.
Are you becoming a Pepsi girl - or is that just because there is NO diet coke in your life right now. Just wondering?
I guess today you are most thankful for fans - among other things - I am a little envious of your cool seventy degrees. Daddy was talking to me last night while he was walking back to him hotel and he said he was freezing - I couldn't believe it - he said it was 60 degrees and windy. Just so you both know - in Alabama - it is not anything like cool or freezing right now - Just plain old HOT day and night. Love you - Mom
