Today, there was no big circle. It has now been three Fridays in a row with no big circle, since I have been here. I am sad. I got to sleep in today. It was nice. It was very cool last night, so I slept great! I haven't felt so good today, but I am feeling better now, thanks to a little medicine. I played with the toddlers this afternoon. They are such a mess. All of the kids in the various houses are working on their talents for the talent show. Some of them are really good! I got to rest most of today. I was super tired from my trip to Tegucigalpa yesterday, and was really feeling it today. I had quite the nap this afternoon. Four of the Danish volunteers are leaving on Monday, so we are throwing them a party tonight, along with a bonfire. We are going to have traditional Danish bread-on-a-stick, and the American favorite, s'mores. It will be a nice treat. It rained today, which felt great! It cooled down everything outside. Tomorrow, will be another busy day, especially since the children don't have school and with the talent show tomorrow night. The kids are very excited. Our house is getting infested with ants, so today I had the pleasure of getting them all. Let's just say there are no more alive ants. Yay! I have been praying about Honduras and volunteering alot, and I really feel like the Lord is calling me to be here as at least a long-term volunteer. Hopefully next year, it will all work out. Please pray for me! I love you and miss you all!

Hey Hope: Thanks for the blog! You will have to blog tomorrow about the party and bonfire tonight. Sounds like fun! Can't wait to hear about talent show. I hope you are feeling better (anything serious...or just very tired). Why no big circle today (or past three Fridays)? I know you are are glad for the rain. It has looked like rain here for the past two days, but it has not done much.
How did you get all of the ants out? I think that has the possibility for another "hope tube" video (the first one was with the 20 cows chasing you).
Saw Mr. Taber at lunch today. I updated him on your trip and asked him to pray for you. He is still trying to work out final arrangements for our trip. Hope for a charter bus!
It is such a joy to see God working out His will in your life. I am thankful for your open heart and faith. A long term volunteer in Honduras.......well, I can see you there. So proud of what you are doing and what you stand for Love, Dad
Finally, I am not the first to make a comment on your daily blog entry. I waited and waited. So you can stop all the teasing about me and your blog!
Do you know the reason for no big circle? Also, tell me why that one is your favorite?
What kind of sick are you and I am so glad the medicine helped.
Is there anyway for ya'll to video tape the talent show? I bet it will be SOOOOO much fun - you still haven't talked to me about what and who with you are participating in the Talent Show.
Tell us about some of the things the children will be doing/performing in the show.
Danish Bread of a Stick - please give us more details on that one - you know I love the food part. Can you add that to your recipe book of things you learned how to do this summer while there.
How did you kill the ants - Mrs. Becky Anders windex method - or some other.....
Are you even the slightest bit homesick - remember I said it is Ok if you aren't... and I know you - you won't make it up to keep me happy. Really I don't want you to be homesick - I am so proud of you. But I do want you to know I am homesick for you. Only 10 more days.....and a very long bus drive. I'm trying to calm my fears of the unknown. ugh....
love you so much... MOM
